I went to St. Phillip’s College for a year, then transferred to Northwest Vista College for another year before moving to Killeen, Texas to attend Central Texas College to major in Equine (Horse) Therapy. I got my certificate in Equine Training. I moved back to San Antonio and am attending San Antonio College (SAC) to finish up my D.S.S degree while working on becoming a CDI (Certified Deaf Interpreter). I have been trained in accounting and computers, working extensively with various office programs, accounting programs and software. I am married to a hearing man who is very skilled in sign language and is going through the interpreter training program to become an interpreter. I also have a young son who is hearing, but is also very fluent in sign language for his age. I love meeting new people everyday and going to Deaf Events. I live in a Deaf and Hearing world and I like it that way. It keeps me involved with both worlds.
