In
November we were honored to receive the prestigious National  Innovation
Award in New York City from the Women Presidents Organization (WPO)
at their 10th anniversary gala, we were also a finalist for the Ethics
in Business Award presented by the UTSA School of Business, the
Ecumenical Center and the San Antonio Business Journal. Most recently, we
were nominated for a Philanthropist Award and Employer of the
Year. So far this year, we have been featured in the Business Journal,
and Enterprising Women (a national magazine), each unsolicited. |

The 18th
Annual Celebration of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)
coordinated by San Antonio Independent Living Services (SAILS)
Awarded to an employer in recognition of their employment practices in
hiring and promoting people with disabilities and whose place of
employment is accessible and disabled friendly. Marilyn was
presented a beautiful plague at the ADA celebration on July 28, 2008 by Kitty Brietzke, J.D., Executive Director
of SAILS. |

Antonio Chapter. for your philanthropic spirit as evidenced by
generous support of worthwhile charitable causes throughout our
community. We were publicly honored at the
National Philanthropy Day Luncheon on November 21, 2008 at the OMNI Hotel.
The Arc of San Antonio, Cynthia Hamilton-Development Director, was the
nominating agency. |
